Fermented in Côte du Rhône oak foeder with house saison yeast strain. Conditioned with native Burgenland blaufränkisch rehydrated grapes and lees. The result is a complex, slightly acidic beer with lot of wine characteristics. Fruity berry notes and big tannins. A well-bodied beer-wine hybrid with some spicy peppery notes from the saison yeast fermentation.
Saison, beer-wine hybrid
water, malted barley, malted wheat, grapes, hops, yeast
The tartness and berryness of the beer pairs well with same dishes as lighter red wines. Slowly cooked stews, some aged cheeses and even for fish dishes and salads. Very versitile beer can be paired with quite a different foods.
